The class provides multiple opportunities for creativity with a focus on collaborative skills, balanced with individual expression. There is a short discussion of career opportunities such as writing, acting, make-up, costume, sound design and stagecraft. After a brief warm-up, highlighting their favorite scenes and characters, they go out and make movies! Occasionally the camp director will challenge more experienced filmmakers by requiring a particular prop or character to appear in their upcoming work. If desired students can bring their own iPhone or iPad with the iMovie app.
