Math/Science Teacher (Part-time)
Wilkinson School:
One-of-a-kind school on the coast near Half Moon Bay, CA, is searching for one highly skilled, energetic and experienced math and science teacher (PT) during the school year.
Small school environment: enrollment of approximately 35 JK-8th grade students in four classrooms with mixed grade levels
Our commitment to maintaining small classroom sizes helps staff to build strong relationships with students, and facilitates an education that best suits the strengths and needs of each individual student

Job Summary:
Part time position for the 2024-2025 school year and beyond
Work closely with students in small group settings
Emphasis is placed on experiential and hands-on learning activities
Pay will be based on qualifications
Qualifications:
Must be highly personable, professional, and have a welcoming presence
BA or MA in Education, or BA or MA in other fields plus a teaching credential. Non credentialed teachers will be considered case by case based on experience.
Minimum of 2 years’ grade teaching experience required
Experience teaching middle school-level math and science required
Experience teaching students with learning differences is a plus
Value being part of a small school community
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Value strong relationships with each student and staff member
